Getting Past Childhood Sexual Abuse

By Edward A. Starecheski

Condition: Subject client is a fifty year old experiencing negative feelings stemming from sexual abuse as a child (father).

Outcome: Neutralize powerful negative feelings

Intervention: Fast Phobia/Trauma Relief and Re-Parenting techniques.

I established rapport with the client using matching/mirroring. I then used the fast phobia technique for three separate specific incidents of childhood abuse. After each of the three applications of this technique, the client reported that her feelings were now neutral when she thought about the incident. The client had indicated previously that she had some issues with her mother for not protecing her from her father's sexual abuse. I did the Re-Parening technique to address the issue with the mother. The client reported that she no longer felt anger towards her mother.
