  2. Place hands comfortably in your lap, fingers of dominant hand bent at the knuckles.
  3. Recall situation when you were not able to speak confidently, remembering all the facts you wished to convey during a discussion or confrontation.
  4. Now recall the conversation, condense, picking out three primary facts as key words.
  5. Take a deep breath and envision these three key words in BIG BOLD BLOCK print to symbolize the major points you wish to convey.
  6. Anchor by touching the thumb. Now extend the thumb fully.
  7. "Thumbs Up" you are now ready to begin.
  8. Now positively state with confidence and courage your first key word bringing to mind the statement it refers to - as you do, anchor that thought by touching your first finger and extending it fully. Take a moment to enjoy the feeling of effectively expressing your viewpoint.
  9. Now bring into view the next important concept…your second key concept that you placed in BIG BOLD BLOCK print. See it, feel it…and express it. Anchor now the middle finger and fully extend it. Again take a moment to enjoy your expression.
  10. Repeat #8 with the same procedure stating the third key word.
  11. Feel your confidence grow, feel good about yourself that you have gained new insight into anew technique that will aide you in condensing your thoughts to key words easily remembered to assist you in your next encounter.
  12. With total acceptance of your new technique, anchor the baby finger and extend it fully, feeling the expansion, the growth, the wholeness, the fullness of expression, the organized completeness of your new ability.
  13. Now turn your hand over and visualize that you always hold the answers in the palm of your hand.
