The Teddy Bear

By Angela Verbaere

Recently, when attempting to do an intervention with a client, I could not get congruency from a 'part'. And, the 'part' refused to come out into one of the client's hands, because he was scared. Since the 'part' wouldn't come out, I had the client go inside and give the 'part' a big cuddly teddy bear and two joints! The 'part' rapidly became congruent and the intervention was successful.

The teddy bear and the joints were new techniques spontaneously invented to handle the immediate situation.
