Captain’s Log:

The past month has been very exciting with an additional international trip, this time another visit to Malaysia. While I was in Malaysia I did a training for the Asian division of Avon. I have truly enjoyed adding corporations to my training schedule. The people are fresh and exciting as they add another dimension to our NLP universe. I look forward to the opportunity of sharing NLP and all its associated facets (training, leadership, sales, personal and business applications) to more corporations in the future.

Christina’s book, “The Forever Born” (a fantasy novel complete will angels, monsters, undersea worlds, space portals, psychic adventure, etc.), will be out later this month. It fell behind schedule due to getting the cover design she wanted. (Picky, picky, picky... She vetoed the first design and sent it back!) We had hoped to have it available for you at the NGH conference. We will have promotional cards with an excerpt on it for those who want a preview at our conference table. We will also take advance orders for those fantasy novel lovers out there. It will be available in standard print, large-print, and e-book format.

New additions to the NFNLP web site:

The announcement of a NLP trainer who we have been forced to "de-certify" as a NFNLP trainer. Unfortunately, Mohammed Al-Hedi Al-Mtiri has chosen not to comply with NFNLP's certification requirements and, unfortunately, it is his students who have had to pay the penalty, since this means they were never truly certified through NFNLP. These students have been listed so as to notify them since the trainer had not furnished us with their details. We are truly sorry to have been forced to take this step, but this was due to the "trainer's" actions. This is not a permanent action...once the trainer has corrected this situation his status may be reinstated.

Techniques and Tips:

Music Transcribing Pattern

1. Visualise a Music Time Line with a “start” button at the beginning of it and a “stop” button at the end. (eyes closed ‘looking’ straight ahead)

2. Place a large ‘speed dial’ above the Music Time Line marked clearly from 0 – 10 with 0 being very slow, and 10 being very fast
3. Play (externally on an audio device) the passage you are wishing to transcribe (Have your eyes closed as you do this)
4. Float along the Music Time Line as the music plays and notice the look of each individual note.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for identifying all distinctions of auditory submodalities in passage of music
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with visual and auditory both at the same time
7. When the music is finished, float above the time line playing the passage in your mind and as you do this alter submodalities for auditory and visual in a way that work for you.
8. Identify at what level the speed of the music is on your speed dial….
9. ….then gradually turn down the dial from the present speed level as you play the music back to yourself in your auditory memory until you can pick out the individual notes. As you do this see the Music Time Line start to ‘stretch’ out the slower the music becomes, until you can see big gaps in between each note.
10. Turn the volume up on the music to an appropriate level for you and put the music passage in auditory on a continuous loop
11. Start transcribing!
12. To commit to memory, go back inside and turn the speed dial up to 10 and watch the Music Time Line shrink to very small whilst the music becomes very fast.
13. Using Eye Accessing, move Time Line into Auditory/Visual remembered for future storage, as you do this build Kinesthetic anchor for easy memory access.
14. Test: re-access the Music Time Line by firing anchor then play the music whilst seeing the Time Line and hearing the music clearly in your head.
15. “Trust that your unlimited subconscious has easily remembered the music now and will deliver it to you naturally when you need it, because the more you trust this process, the more you will experience unlimited musical memory and transcribing abilities beyond your expectations.”
