If you are feeling fine and you meet some and in a few minutes later they leave and you feel bad and negative, it is reasonable to assume that your bad feeling came from them. So, if it belongs to them, you should send it back. It’s a simple technique and when you do this you will see that visual imagination has a powerful effect on feelings.

This technique is called:

RETURN TO SENDER

  1. 1) Notice where you feel the bad feeling in your body.

  2. 2) Imagine a shape and a color for it.

  3. 3) Then imagine moving it out, as though putting it on a table in front of you.

  4. 4) Imagine wrapping it up like a parcel.

  5. 5) Then imagine throwing it away from you with such force that it goes over the horizon all the way to that other person.

  6. 6) Now notice how you feel.

  7. 7) If there are any leftover bits of feeling lying around, do the same again until you feel as comfortable as you like.
