Heaven and Hell

By Chuck Domm

For my NFNLP Masters, I created an extension of your "sliding anchors" that I call "Heaven and Hell." It is much more dramatic where the client is standing with outstretched arms (works great for Christian mind sets), bad stuff anchors should be on the left, great stuff on the right. There should be simultaneous sliding . . . bad going down to Hell as the left arm lowers, while the right reaching into Heaven as it raises. The two anchors slide respectively with great images supporting the fall or rise, even voice changes . . . harsh hissing voice on left, gentle encouraging voice on right. As the "bad" stuff on the left lowers, the "touch" is hard, pounding, irritating until reaching the hands where the impression is that all negatives are going, going, gone to Hell and the touch eases.

The right side and right voice and firm to gentle touch goes up the arm, a "high five" is experienced at peak imagery and the hand is brought back as practitioner shakes it in congratulations for the client's great achievement --- thoroughly anchoring the success of "reaching Heaven". Rejoice! Hallelujah!
