Emotional Blockages

By Lygya Barreto

This technique helps the client to get over EMOTIONAL BLOCKAGES such as: Traumas, Depression, Sadness, etc.

  1. Identify your favorite place to be, imagine yourself in this place feeling good and relaxed. This place is your favorite because you feel protected, and powerful in being in there. It is as if the place gives you even more energy than the one you have.
  2. Feel the energy getting inside of you, experiencing the soothing electric vibes of energetic charge in your physical body. Hear the sound around you like the sound you most like to hear (music, birds singing, waves, water falls, etc.) See the things you like around you, contemplating the beauty of it all. Taste the air coming through your mouth and nose cleaning any impurity you may have inside your organs. Breathe deeply and calmly, as you are baby about to sleep.

  3. Now imagine yourself sleeping and dreaming of a situation. The situation is going to be very real but you will not mind because you will know it is just a dream. As you comfortably prepare yourself to experience that situation again. Are you comfortable?
  4. Do you feel good in this place now? Is it giving energy and power? See yourself sleeping.

Start to have a vision of yourself. In the dream you are having the dream you are about to see will be the full act of the cause of your pain, exactly how it took place in the past. (pause). Can you see it? (If they can not see it, I ask them to feel it, or hear it, and ask them to describe the experience tome.) During the description at the exact moment they mention the root of the trauma I ask them to "STOP" distracting the client's attention from the vision. It makes the client feel confused for a second and then have the client continue right away to go back to the dream. Have the client to keep their imagination going, asking for a different and positive way the dream could take place changing the outcome with the power of their mind. I ask the client at that moment to change things around, to imagine the scene being of a positive outcome, how the client would like the facts to have taken place. While they're doling that I anchor the client (touching). I also ask the client to verbalize to me what is going on, and anchor one more time, in another manner (speaking), I also ask them to take deep breaths while going through this process.

  5. I suggest the client view the dream once again, this time with the new modified version of it, from the beginning of the fact to the point we stopped before. I anchor this time with a little lavender smell passing through close to their nose, as I ask them to take a deep breath. I ask them for the third time to go through this process again, this time I use relaxing music to support the vision.
