Case Study: Opposites Attract

By Shawn Morgan

My wife recently gave birth to our third son, Jaren Alexander Morgan, on May 12th. Unfortunately, there were additional complications leading up to labor, which was causing my wife to have increased anxiety and apprehension towards what was to come.

She has watched some of your videos with me, but has not allowed me to fully test my skills on her ‘openly’ yet. She is also aware that another graduate of your course, Joe White, worked some timeline techniques on me, which were quite emotional but extremely beneficial, and this has also made her hesitant (Note: I am also a certified acupuncturist through the Beijing Institute in China (certified in four countries) and she has never allowed me to use a single needle on her, only laser and touch).

Anyways, to better understand her and relate with her I have worked extensively on better understanding her meta programs which have brought significant insight and closeness to our relationship, and I have communicated these findings with her.

Basically, the saying is true, ‘opposites do attract.’

I am ‘visual,’ while she is ‘auditory.’
I am a ‘toward’ thinker, she an ‘away from’ thinker.
I am ‘internally’ motivated, while she is ‘externally’ motivated.
I ‘match,’ while she ‘mismatches.’
I am ‘In time,’ while she is ‘through time.’

All of the above led and guided me through all of our discussions and interventions about the delivery of our child. I am convinced that this ended up being the smoothest delivery yet, and I credit it all to her strength and mental preparedness, and pray that my interventions and knowledge of her meta programs helped.

In any case, my words used during conversations about the delivery were focused on meeting the terms of her meta programs and not mine, as in the past, and our connectiveness and oneness is evident through this growth stage.

With the grace of God, we have a new, beautiful, healthy boy and both mommy and baby are doing marvelous.
