Meet Joe Donahue!
Joe Donahue has coached at Northeastern University, Boston MA, for 25 years, and had 20 Division l Track & Field All Americans in the Throwing Events( Shot Put, Hammer, Discus, Javelin) both men and women, 2 USA National Champions, 3 Scandinavian Champions and one Olympian. He has also coached one world champion and record holder in Power Lifting and one NCAA Champion in Olympic Lifting. Joe is a sport psychology consultant-coach in addition to his school counseling position. He is also in the Northeastern University Athletic Hall of Fame.
Joseph Donahue has a M.ED. in School Counseling from Northeastern University and has completed the coursework and internship for advanced training as a counseling psychologist. He is certified as a National Certified Counselor, NCC and Clinical Mental Health Counselor, CMHC by NBCC. Joe is also certified as a Master Practitioner in NLP by the NFNLP as well as Certification in Hypnosis by the NGH. He works at Dorchester High School in Boston as a school counselor specializing in "Students at Risk." Joe presented on this topic in February 2002 at the Regional College Board Convention in Boston. He has extensive experience working with college students, athletes and secondary special needs students and has presented at conferences throughout the USA. Joseph Donahue is currently serving as a member of a New England Association of Schools and Colleges evaluation team in addition to his counseling responsibilities.
